Question 1

When do pre-orders open and close?

Accepted Answer

Pre-orders officially open in early October and run through 11:59 PM on February 8, 2027. Submitting your order during this window guarantees your place in the first bulk fulfillment wave directly from the League.

Question 2

When do pre-ordered cards actually ship?

Accepted Answer

Cards are printed and mailed in bulk by the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) in late March or early April. Your card will arrive directly in your home mailbox.

Question 3

Will I get a tracking number for my card?

Accepted Answer

No—the NMJL mails all cards via standard USPS First-Class Letter Mail, which does not include individual package tracking numbers. We strongly recommend signing up for free USPS Informed Delivery.

Question 4

Why is February 8 the hard deadline?

Accepted Answer

Pre-orders submitted by February 8 are processed in the League's primary printing and mailing group (arriving late March/early April). Orders placed after pre-orders close may experience significant printing delays and often do not arrive until May or June.

Question 5

Should I pre-order directly from the NMJL or through a Charity Collector?

Accepted Answer

You receive the exact same official physical card and member benefits either way. When you pre-order through Mahj For All, the NMJL donates $7.00 per card directly to METAvivor, and you still retain full League membership benefits.

Question 6

How much do official cards cost?

Accepted Answer

Standard Print Card: $16.00. Large Print Card: $18.00. 100% of card proceeds and voluntary top-up donations go directly to charity; credit card processing fees are passed through at cost.

Question 7

Should I choose Standard or Large Print?

Accepted Answer

Standard Print uses 11pt font; Large Print uses 12pt font. Download our free Font Size Comparison Guide (PDF) to test both sizes at home.

Question 8

Can I pre-order next year’s card on Amazon?

Accepted Answer

Early Amazon or marketplace listings for 2027 Mahjong Cards are neither authentic nor authorized. The only official pre-orders are through the NMJL website or authorized Charity Collectors.

Question 9

Can I pre-order a 2027 Mahj For All card adapted for vision-impaired or colorblind players?

Accepted Answer

Not at this time. The cards sold during this pre-order drive are the official, standard hands & rules cards published by the National Mah Jongg League. Adapted cards will be available to purchase from Mahj For All around April 15, 2027.
